Talk with Michaela Stauch about the Deep Dive Master and her start-up journey
Michaela and I met back in 2019 when her entrepreneurial journey at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) started by accomplishing the MOOC (massive open online course) on Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation. After this preparatory course, she decided to apply for the Deep Dive master, and followed through with one of her classmates – founding their own company XTRPY in 2022. XTRPY develops smart jewelry for elderly people with automated fall detection. Since then, they won several awards, expanded the team, were chosen as a recipient for the EXIST grant, were featured on createF, and soon they’ll launch their first crowdfunding campaign. This story is especially for those, who are considering whether studying the Deep Dive master is the right choice for you. It also gives good insights on how to start a new venture by taking advantage of all the opportunities a university and entrepreneurship center such as SCE has to offer.
